The Township has included several executive summaries on this website to address specific legal questions raised during the study process; however, many of the FAQs also contain legal guidance within the responses to questions raised by the public. Legal review is an integral part of the study process.


Public Information

The Woodlands Township endeavors to provide all final reports and publicly presented documents related to the Incorporation Study on this website. If you are seeking a document that does not appear in this library, you may want to submit a public information request.

The Texas Public Information Act gives the public the right to request access to government information. Public information requests made under the Texas Public Information Act Government Code Chapter 552 must be submitted in writing. All submitted written requests are treated uniformly and reviewed to determine whether the requested information is public under The Act. The public information request will be processed promptly and responsive information will be made available within the time allowed by law.
